I know I’m desperate went I will ride 22+ miles just to meet a friend for a few minutes, going there in the traffic and riding back in the pitch dark.

Even worse is getting home and seeing your top speed was 53 mph cause you didn’t see how fast you were going… ’cause my Garmin dims after 15 sec.

I having to dress to ride in big temperature swings. When I left home it was 57° F (14° C) and was 39° F (4° C) by the time I got home.

Tour Das Hugel time of year.

I won’t be doing it in 2011. I probably could but I’m not healed from my broken clavicle and it might not be too smart.

    Here is the route.

Yes, it is fun. A jungle rules, you are on your own, un-organized ride along a shared route.

Check it out on their web site. Tour Das Hugel.

    Yet another flat….

35 mph + flat.   Second one today, the first one was a slow leaker.

I was watching traffic on 620 and hit something so small I did not see it, but it took out my sidewall as fast as a blowout.

Ugh…. I hate this.  Two flats.   2 tubes.   One CO2  cartridge.   I rode 20 miles with 60 psi in a tire, fixed with a spare biz card wrapped around the tube to keep if from bubbling out my tire tear.

Summer is here for sure…. flat tire season

100+ degrees and a jacket? Yep. Headed out of summer hell to cooler temperatures.

My “small” pile luggage waiting for my bro Roger to pick me up.

Roger is the best bro . He was kind enough to drive me to the airport for another outlandish cycling trip.

    Thanks Roger!
